To get the latest NVivo license key you need to go to the student portal in Moodle and click the ‘Software download’ option
This leads to the software download page. Find and click on NVivo for Windows or Mac. If already have an older version, you may have to uninstall the old version and reinstall the latest version to activate the most current license.
Run the installer and select the language you want to use. Click ‘Install’ and follow the instructions. Click ‘finish’.
When the NVivo login screen appears, do NOT click on ‘Log into my NVivo’, instead click ‘or provide enterprise key to activate’
To get the activation code, open the folder you downloaded from Moodle and open ‘NVivo activation code’. Enter this code into the setup window
Finally, fill in your personal details when prompted.
